Cool, man..let me know what you think of the Tomb Raider and MGS games...hope ya like 'em.
As for the next Batman game, I'm really looking forward to it and the new characters it's supposed to be bringing.

I agree 100%..finally being able to explore Gotham City is gonna be killer. We got to see the skyline in the asylum game, but playing Arkham Origins in the actual city of Gotham is gonna be sweet. And you're right about it taking place on Christmas Eve..I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
Yeah man, I hope you do give at least one of the early Tomb Raiders a chance...you'll probably laugh at the graphics, (I did, after going back to play it again after 16+ years or so) but the gameplay and puzzles are worth checking it out for, in my opinion.

Pacman and Circus were killer games on the Atari system...good times. E.T though...oh man, that game was BAD.
I don't know, man..it's hard to suggest a game like the original Tomb Raiders to someone nowadays, just because gaming technology has come so damn far..me personaly, I'd say yes, give those games a go..mostly because those were the games and game types that Uncharted was based upon...Lara Croft was doing that stuff long before Nathan Drake was even invented, and she was badass back in the day.
I just read that Warner Bros Games Montreal will be doing the new Batman, so that news give me some pretty good vibes about what the new game will bring. It's supposed to be released in the fall.

You've missed out on some great gaming, dude..but at the same time you've played some equally awesome games. That's the beauty of gaming though, you can always go back and play games from any era, so to speak. I actually started gaming on the Atari system, so that'll tell you how long I've been at this and how much time I've wasted playing games. lol
I didn't know that a different studio was doing the next Batman game...yeah man, I hope it stays up to par with the first two. Time will tell.

They say it looks nice, but that's about it.

I'd personally agree with that statement. The visuals were easily the best part of the movie, with the music being the second best. I see you haven't liked most of Zombie's movies so I'd be surprised if you found Salem worth watching anyway, but I could be wrong. I really can't say I recommend it.

A buddy of mine just told me about that game about 2 weeks ago or so...even sent me a link to an article regarding the game...if I find it again I'll pass it along to you.
And I agree with you, we definitely need more true survival/horror games...less action based and more story based/thinking games...those are the kinda games that I personally can play over and over.
The last game I played was the newest Tomb Raider game..it was cool. I like that they told a story of the young Lara Croft, before she became the "Tomb Raider"...I hear that the next Batman game will have the same basic idea..it'll show Batman before he works out all the kinks...it should be pretty cool.

Yeah, switching characters in a game is always fun, especially in the RE games..I like that idea WAY better than co-op, probably because the progression of the game/story still depends on only me. Don't get me wrong though, I get why co-op games are so popular and have their place..I guess I'm just more into playing thru a game and it's story on my own. I'm also looking forward to RE Revelations...I've also heard that it's much more like the old school RE's(which I love)..searching rooms to find keys, etc...one dude's review on it said it's "Back To Origin" so I'm really happy to hear that.
As for Silent Hill...man, I love those games! That's what true survival/horror is all about.

In my opinion, Dead Space 3 did move more toward an action based game, but not so much so that it loses the feel of the first 2 games. A huge part of the game is still survival/horror, (which I was stoked about) and is extremely story driven. I don't play online very much at all, so I've never played the co-op stuff and don't really have the interest to either. I hate when great games like the original Resident Evils move into action vs survival/horror..it ruins the feel of the game, for me anyway. I think you'll really like Dead Space 3, dude...it still has the feel of 1 & 2, and adds new things into the mix. Plus, I think you'll dig building your own weapons and/or improving the ones you already have.

First off, thanks for your review of Bioshock Infinite..I appreciate you taking the time to do that. I've seen the trailers for it and have read some reviews, and I'll be honest with you..the fact that it looks so different from the first 2 games has made me veer away from buying it so far, mostly because, like you, my favorite is the first game, and I was kinda worried that Infinite would be so far off course that it wouldn't tie in with the first 2 games of the series. Hearing that it feels like Bioshock still is cool though, and I'm more looking forward to getting it now than I was before..so again, thanks for your opinion on it, I appreciate it.

I loved Bioshock 1 and 2...how does the new one stand up to the first 2, in your opinion?

Without giving anything away, if you liked Dead Space 2, you're gonna love DS3...each game just gets better and better.
